Teacher Kim Ingold Killed in North Carolina Collision With Septic Truck
A schoolteacher named Kim Ingold was tragically killed on Saturday evening when she was hit head-on by a septic truck near Biscoe, North Carolina. The wreck happened on NC Highway 24-27 near the Montgomery-Moore County line as Ms. Ingold was traveling home from watching the NC State football game in Raleigh.
According to available information, a septic truck sideswiped a Nissan Altima and then crossed the center line hitting Ms. Ingold. The septic truck belonged to a company called Hurley Backhoe Services.
Ms. Ingold was a schoolteacher in the Anson County School system and had just celebrated her 50th birthday days before the wreck.
At this time, it is not clear why the driver of the septic truck crossed the center line. We expect the NC State Highway Patrol will investigate the serious collision. If we learn more about this wreck, we will update this post.
