Surry County NC Tractor Trailer Crash Results in Injuries
Another collision involving two tractor-trailers on Interstate 77 in Surry County, North Carolina has resulted in injuries to one tractor-trailer driver.
According to available information, one tractor-trailer rear-ended a second tractor-trailer near mile marker 1010 at around 8:55 am. The truck that was hit caught fire. The driver of this truck was injured and required transport to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Reports indicate that he will be okay.
At this time, it is not clear why the second tractor-trailer did not reduce speed to avoid this collision.
