Vanceboro NC Truck Accident Results in Serious Injuries
A very serious accident in Vanceboro, North Carolina on Thursday has resulted in very serious injuries to a driver of a Chevrolet vehicle. The accident happened on NC Highway 43 when a flatbed truck apparently ran the stop sign at the intersection of Wilmar Road and NC 43. The flatbed truck then hit a Chevrolet Avalanche. The Chevrolet then caught on fire but the driver was ultimately freed from the wreckage.
The driver of the Chevrolet was transported to Vidant Medical Center in Greenville for treatment. The driver of the flatbed truck was apparently not seriously injured.
