Tractor-Trailer Crashes on US 321 Runaway Truck Ramp
A very serious accident on a runaway truck ramp on US 321 near Lenoir, North Carolina has resulted in the death of two Florida men. The crash happened around 4:00 am when a tractor-trailer hauling metal tubing was apparently traveling around 90 mph when it proceeded up the runaway truck ramp. However, the truck still hit the dirt mound at the end of the ramp at approximately 60 mph which proved fatal to the two men in the truck.
Killed in the crash were David Bailey and passenger Chris Raines.
